1. How do I become a patient at Anatomix?
In the state of Louisiana, you must have a prescription from your doctor or chiropractor. A physical therapist can evaluate a patient without a prescription but cannot carry out treatment unless prescribed by a doctor.

2. What should I expect on my first visit?
At your first appointment, the Physical Therapist will perform a thorough physical evaluation based on your diagnosis and current level of function. This can range from 30 minutes to over an hour but varies considerably depending on your injury. Your therapist will then set up subsequent visits based on his/her recommendations.

3. What should I wear?
It is best to wear comfortable clothes that are non-restrictive.

4. What if Anatomix is not a provider on my insurance?
Please call us to make certain this is the case. Provider lists are updated annually or bi-annually and are not always accurate.
