Clinic owner, Michael Conlin, PT, CKTP, ART® has worked with orthopedic and sports related injuries since graduating from Physical Therapy School at Daemen College in Amherst, New York in 1993. He specializes in soft tissue injuries and nerve entrapments using Active Release Techniques ®. ART® is a patented, non-invasive soft tissue treatment used to locate and break down scar tissue and adhesions that cause pain, stiffness, and other physical dysfunctions associated with repetitive strain injuries. Mr. Conlin is the only provider in the tri-parish region credentialed in all ART® protocols. He is a member of the Elite Providers Network and has served on the ART® IRONMAN Provider Network. Michael is also a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner. Michael has received certification using Intramuscular Neuro-Manual Therapy Techniques (INMT) with the Integrative Systemic Dry Needling Method. He has extensively studied manual therapy techniques including McKenzie, Mulligan, Muscle Energy, and Thrust Manipulation Techniques. He is married to the love of his life, Shelly Conlin, RN and they have three children. The Conlins live in the Hammond area and are both active in the community as well as with their children’s school and sports activities.
